Afternoon Session! - Creative Collaboration Lab - Main Street School of Performing Arts
Through a series of activities and collaborative sessions, students will work in groups to create original performances limited only by their own imagination. Instructors will guide students to unlock their creative potential. This workshop centers on interdisciplinary arts creation. For example, a cellist might work with a dancer to create an original dance with original music. Global Video Game Designer #2 - Middle School
Students shouldnt just be playing video games, they should be MAKING their own games using video cameras, sensors, and drawings. Students even get to remix what others have done to hack their games! By learning Scratch (designed by the brilliant folks at MIT), your child will get to impress you with his or her cool and original creations. Plus, your child will be doing a good deed while gaming, as with all Level Up Village classes, 30% of the profits go towards funding a Global Partner class of students who live in poverty. Using video chatting, your child and his or her global partner will get to hack into each others games! All the while, your child will be learning about math, logic, coding and presentation skills. Activities*** A full range of balanced programs will be offered, from exciting Jewish thematic activities to sports, arts and crafts, hiking, games, music, Oneg Shabbat and singing with Craig Parks. Minecraft Movie Maker - Middle School
Action! This camp focuses on using computers, video games and Minecraft to produce in game movies on the computer, also known as Machinima.
