Santa Monica Sports Experience for Boys and Girls ages 8-14: A unique sports camp for kids who enjoy concentrating their energy on sports activities, action-packed tournaments and innovative organized games. Our goal is to stimulate a love for sports in youth of all athletic abilities. This spring break, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Santa Monica Swim Center as well as other exciting excursions, skills clinics and special events. Whether its learning new sports skills from our highly trained coaching staff or participating in an exciting specialized class, your child will look forward to a new challenge every day. The sun is shining, the buds are blooming, and NY parks need to be cleaned! Come to the LAST teen event for this school year for NY Cares Spring Day. We'll meet at 8AM in Manhattan and then travel to a park to help get them ready for spring with thousands of other people around the City. Last year we planted a garden on top of the Staten Island Ferry Building. Did I mention that you get a free t-shirt and this is your LAST chance to recieve community service with us for the school year?. Camp Journey is an overnight camp focused on social skills, building friendships, teamwork, manners, and self-esteem. Camp activities include directed social skills instruction in a typical overnight camp setting. Camp Journey is available to campers age 9 to young adult with Moderate*, Mild, and HFA/Aspergers Syndrome. *A small number of spaces are available for campers that need more adult support in daily living skills, social interaction, and communication. Summer Youth Art Camp: Grade 5 Summer art camp is the perfect retreat for the young artist. A faculty of professional artists and art educators provide hands-on activities that expose students to a variety of artistic styles and art processes. Campers rotate by age group to different studio classes for drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media. Daily enrichment activities may include entertainment, movement/dance, presentations and games that explore different cultures and forms of art.
