Funky Fun Art: Summer Camp-Session 6 - Baird Community Center
Street Art/ Spray Paint Camp Kids need free time to relax and create! They will be inspired in a creative atmosphere surrounded by friends! Each week will have a specific theme. Every week will include individual projects along with group projects and a chance for everyone to explore their creative abilities!Age/Grades: This camp is for students entering 1st through 5th grade in September. Clay Camp Week 1 June 27th-July 1st 1:30pm-5pm Sculpt and create amazing art out of clay! We will explore different types of clay and create unique pieces! Face Painting Camp Week 2 July 5-8 1:30pm-5pm Explore painting on faces, arms and legs! Learn tricks to making your designs truly amazing! Kidcreate Studio: LEGO Dino World Art Camp - 3060 Patton Road
Blast yourself back to the Jurassic period where dinosaurs roamed and owned the land! Use your LEGO brick building skills to create the most fearsome dinos you can imagine. Well create with paint, play with clay, construct costumes and more as we learn about these ancient and monstrous creatures. If it crawled or swam, ran or jumped, well make it come back to life in the LEGO themed art camp. Please pack a nut free snack and a beverage for your child. Four of Shakespeares plays will be studied over the course of 8 weeks; Midsummer Nights Dream, Julius Caesar, Richard the Third, Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest. Each week scenes will be analyzed rehearsed and the next week performed. Outside rehearsal will be a necessity for this class. The more time you put in the greater the reward!
