Do you like to discuss current events? Do you wish you could speak with more confidence? Learning the art of debate will help you understand how to analyze issues, speak with authority and engage others. Debate camp will introduce you to the fundamentals of competitive academic debate while learning the basics of good argument theory, the format and rules of competitive debate, critical thinking, research and speech skills. A range of topics will be presented with a focus on the 2016–17 national high school season topic (announced in the spring). 952-988-3463

Each day will be spent reading book in small and large groups, writing summaries, fiction and non-fiction stories, and book reports. We will greatly expand our vocabulary, play word games, and focus on grammar, pronunciation, and fluency in a challenging yet relaxed and fun environment. Water Week 2: Get ready for a splash-tastic week of camp! Campers build watersheds, learn boat safety lessons, study aquatic life and canoe at Little Campbell Lake. Min 5/ Max 14 Camper drop is off from 12:30-1:00p, program time 1:00-4:00pm, camper pick up time is 4:00-4:30pm. AGE CATEGORY Elementary LOCATION Kincaid Chalet West Room at Kincaid Outdoor Center
Stamford Lacrosse Camp Week 2 & PM All Sports Camp - Westhill High School
For Boys ages 6-12 years old. Players of all abilities are welcome to join us for a fun instructional camp of lax drills, skill competitions, contests and games! Players will be divided up into two main groups by age and will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game. Players will be coached by former high school coaches, college and high school players and each group in the camp will be supervised by an adult coach. Players must bring their own equipment. Full equipment required: helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard and a stick. Bring a peanut free snack and refillable water bottle.
