Pine Cove Retreat Center will host us again this year, since they do provide the BEST MEALS we all can mull over as we stand in the seyami line, WHICH actually has some pretty good stuff. Foothills Day Camp - Session 3 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and picked up anytime between 4-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday of each session sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate campout experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling around the campfire, a thrilling night hike, and more. KHK: Cowboy Overnight Camp - SD Discovery Center
Qualified staff, experienced horses and a rodeo and roping arena will be the setting for this camp. The atmosphere will encourage campers to advance their riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding. All campers will get to try their hand at rodeo and roping events. Instruction will be provided and all level of riders will be accommodated. Math and science concepts will be integrated into all skill development for campers. Everyone will ride and learn horse and ranch routines. This is an overnight camp. Chuck wagon/Campfire cooking will occur, (weather permitting). Bring a sleeping bag, overnight bag, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, sunscreen and a jacket. Riding Helmets will be provided.
