LATEST CAMPS NEWS: KODA Youth Girls (Ages 13–16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers a place where hearing children of Deaf parents could come together to learn about, and better understand the two worlds that they simultaneously live in, and where they could explore, identify, and strengthen their unique C/KODA identities and develop individually as leaders. All of this would occur, ideally, in a recreational camping environment that would foster a lot of interaction and activities for each child and youth. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet. Campers will create skits for Parents Night; Parents Night is offered at the end of the program, and family members are invited to come and watch their childs skits. Kid's Sewing Camp - Snohomish, WA
Projects designed specifically for kids ages 7-12... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week and then having a "showcase" party on Friday from 12-2pm to show off what the kids have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

TRI-It! This camp is designed for beginner triathletes that have competitive swimming or running experience. Find out why triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in America and learn about NCAA scholarships for female athletes! USA Triathlon certified coaches (including Dr. Karen Edwards, Director of Afterschool and Summer at Laurel) will teach basic skills for completing your first triathlon.
