Hi Tor campers are entering grades 6 and 7 live in "tree" houses on the hill. Our 40 climbing wall is introduced at this age. Other activities include advanced canoeing and funyaking, a campout in the woods, arts and crafts, sport and challenge activities, and outdoor living skills. Staff ratio is 1:8 campers. 3607335710.0
H20 Adventures - Beat the Heat - Rengstorff Park
Imagine a camp where youth can learn swimming techniques, enjoy free swim with friends, and then spend the rest of the day playing awesome high activity games and crafts. Now imagine that this dream actually exists. We bring your H2O Adventures. Along with traditional outdoor camp activities and games, each participant will receive 30 minutes of swim instruction (provided by aquatic staff) followed by 15 minutes of free swim each morning, except on field trip days. Participants should arrive wearing a bathing suit with a towel and pre-applied sunscreen (Mon-Thur) with active running clothes and shoes in a bag. Every Friday, we?ll be going on an exciting field trip. One t-shirt will be provided to each participant for the summer session. Depending on the week, breakfast and lunch may or may not be provided. When the sun is at its peak, it?s the shade we shall seek. We?ll be playing fun water games and activities all week long, because we know summer gets HOT. Come see what the fun is all about! *This class is designed to help with kindergarten readiness. These themed camps offer a fun, engaging learning environment as we work toward kindergarten readiness through different weekly topics. *3, 4, and 5 year olds are encouraged to join our morning preschool camps, where we work on a variety of social and academic skills. *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Please note that lunch is not provided and students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon camp. 319-294-2036

This program is for children in grades 1-4th and all skill levels. The philosophy behind the program is to teach basic skills and fundamentals, develop athletic skills, make new friends, and most importantly have fun! The program stresses good sportsmanship at all times. All equipment will be provided. This is a good program to put your child in if theyre baseball, football, basketball, and/or hockey players. Many of the physical skills worked on during the camp will crossover to those sports. All equipment is provided. The camp is coached by Stoughton High School Coach Josh Wollin and assistants. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please contact the Recreation Department for late registration availability.
