INSTRUCTOR: JOEY CASEY We offer full day mini-sessions of classes for kids 5-11 when they are break from school. In these classes, students explore subjects such as weaving, sewing, embroidery, printing, felting and dyeing. Each day is dedicated to a full project, and supplemented with organized play time. The Moose is a classic northeast creek. Big drops with multiple options for cool new lines. Intermediate and advanced boaters are welcome! Kid's Summer Art Camp - Lexington, NC
This summer art camp will be daily July 12th-15th from 10-12. Each day they will leave with a completed art project. 4 projects in total. Self-portrait, monster rocks, scratch art, and watermelon canvas painting. I will post pics of others in comments. Cost is $100 for the camp and includes all materials and lots of fun! Ages 5-12. 1st-4th grade: American Doll and Etiquette Camp - Saint Marys School
Etiquette and good manners is all about kindness, consideration and truthfulness. This camp will celebrate young girls and all that they can be. We will try to speak to their imagination and teach them the importance of friends and family. We will use Role Play and other fun activities to entertain, educate and inspire them. The Etiquette section will include: Memory Work; a written invitation; making proper introductions; using proper telephone etiquette. We will learn to make an appointment, make purchases and just ask questions. We will set a proper table, drink hot tea from a teacup and eat hot soup with a spoon. Finally, we will help set up a proper Tea Table for our Graduation Tea. During this week of camp we will enjoy our dolls and even choose our own Doll of the Year. As we study good character traits, we will try to spark their imagination and teach them the importance of family and friends as we name and develop our very own Doll of the Year, we will write a short book about her. Kidokinetics camps provide a fun, healthy week of exercise, games, nutrition and sports activities. A new sport is introduced every day. Field Hockey Day Camp Session #1 - Vonnie Gros Athletic Field
The WCU Field Hockey Day Camp is designed for the development of the field hockey athlete from advanced level to beginners. All campers will have individual skill instruction with play-ers of similar ability and experience. Topics that will be covered: individual/group instruction, offensive/defensive strategies, specialized goal-keeper instruction, as well as competitive game experiences in a positive learning environment. EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, bath-ing suit, sunscreen, and a con-tainer of water (no glass). WCU and its camp staff are not re-sponsible for lost or missing items. All personal equipment should be marked with the campers name.
