February 19-20 (Times to be announced) In addition to having an awesome time getting to hang out with the youth group, we will be getting to hang out with youth ministry families as well. We will have food, games, and times of Bible study. Our Bible study will be centered on the roles of students, parents, and youth pastor in the development of students as disciples of Jesus. If you are a non-camper, you are still welcome to come hang out and fellowship. Does your child love science? And love to cook? This course is where cooking meets science! In this session, the campers learn about the science that goes behind cooking. But not all recipes are edible! The children will make lots of fun putties and slimes too! From growing yeast to building a radio out of a fruit to baking the yummiest science of all! The children will learn that their kitchen is filled with wonderful products that create some very explosive, gooey, slimy, fun and delicious science! We will build some unique items with basic things from our kitchen, make silly putty, arctic slime, and even play dough with your own scented design. Students build a sandcastle without ever stepping foot on the beach! They also change the properties of chocolate to make their very own chocolate bars! With some basic scientific knowledge, your child will learn to build a battery out of a pickle! Have your child join us for an educational experience that isnt just delicious, its also fun! The garden can be a magical place, especially when it includes the magical touch of a budding, young artist. Using carving and sculpting techniques, we will transform a slab of clay into a colorful sculpture of that can be "planted" in the garden. 970.728.3886

This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will be introduced to six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will learn about circuits and power sources as they build our Mars-like RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot and will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots. Campers will be able to take home the robots they build for hours of fun after the camp week has finished! Price includes a lab fee of $45. 805-570-1988
