The Spring Eagles Fitness Program (03/14/2016 - 06/02/2016) is a gym membership open to all LAMC Students 16 years old and up. Must be enrolled in at least 1 unit in the current semester to qualify for the student discount. When you enroll in this program you gain access to the Fitness Center, Indoor Track, All Community Fitness Classes, and Locker Rooms. This programs price was a one-time fee of $45.00 for all L.A.M.C. students. NOW $35.00. A 10% Discount will be applied to groups that sign-up 2 or more people within the same transaction. Teen Improv Summer Camp - Norfolk, VA
Jump head first into the wonderful world of improv comedy. This camp is open to teens from the age of 13 to 18, and absolutely no experience is needed. Students will explore the key tools behind both long and short form improvisation. We will play numerous improv games which will help to sharpen your mind and strengthen your public-speaking, social and team-building skills. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where teens can build confidence, make friends, and most importantly ... have fun. At the end of camp, all students will take part in a graduation show on the Push Comedy Theater stage. Do you think you can solve a highly interactive robotics game? Would you like to create an effective scoring robot both using tele-operated mode and autonomous mode using the VEX IQ Design system? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the camp for you! Students will learn how to design effective robots, overcome design challenges, and effectively use motors, gears and sensors in a winning combination to create a robot. On the last day of camp, participants will run their robots in a real competition in front of friends and family! VEX IQ robotics design system will be used to learn the art of engineering, science and programming. Willem Scholten is Seattle Preps robotics coach.
