This picturesque camp is quietly located between the Chugach Mountains and the Cook Inlet. It has been welcoming campers since 1961. My 10 year old son loves any outdoor activities. This camp is perfect for him. The non-judgmental philosophy of the camp makes it a place where children and teens can grow. Come out to Watauga's Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars! Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Don't forget your tent and camping gear! Fishing Derby Age Divisions: 6 & Under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. We will have a few food vendors on site to purchase dinner & treats. A Free Breakfast will be provided for the overnight campers the following morning at 7:30AM. You MUST pre register for the campout by Thursday, September 16 in order to receive the free breakfast. Space is limited for breakfast. Also, the River Church will be at the event giving away free clothing!! Make sure to stop by to visit them.

Does your little one have what it takes to be a REAL princess? No, really… Does she have what it takes to be true royalty? Well, she’s about to go through Princess 101! Announcing the first ever Putnam Princess Parties Princess Summer Camp!! July 5-9 we will transform the Bancroft FireHouse in beautiful Putnam County into a Princess Academy where our real life Putnam Princesses will be conducting a camp that will teach little ones exactly what it takes to be royalty- manners, makeup, songs, dances, the works! Each day, 2-3 princesses will teach different “courses” from 5:00-7:00pm. Different princesses will teach different “classes.” For example, Cinderella may be teaching a song while Snow White is teaching a proper curtsy. Each day, your child will learn something new and they will practice for the big recital on Saturday. At the end of the week, the little princesses will perform in a special performance alongside the real life princesses in a grand recital. They will perform the special songs and dances they have studied. And all the characters they have met throughout the week will be in attendance for a grand ball type of ceremony. There will then be a special graduation “with royal honors”...

Every participant will receive top flight instruction from our professional Bulls/Sox Academy coaches who have learned from the Chicago Bulls coaching staff. We provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn the game, as well as teach life lessons such as discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. Each participant will receive a replica autographed photo of Derrick Rose, camp t-shirt, and personal scouting report. Your child will not only have fun, but will be given important tools to become a better basketball player.
