The Charleston Baseball Academy Winter Youth Camp will be held Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Charleston Baseball Academy at Dennis Park. ages 8u-14U This camp will be instructed by the CBA Staff which includes former college coach Jason Murray, Stan Kowalski, Sean Leyland, Donavan Campbell, Scott Sandman along with special guest James Reeves, LHP with the New York Yankees Organization. Summer Camp Reunion Weekend - Paige, TX
We just love seeing our campers and their families return to the village in February and March to enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire, and obviously a great part of that is when campers encounter each other! This year, for the first time, we would like to have an official "Reunion" for our Youth Campers and Adult Campers alike to help facilitate that. Both events (which will be separate, because we don't want the Adult Campers teaching the younger ones bad habits) will take place during weekend #2, Feb 20-21. Mark your calendar! Boys will be in tents outside with the adults on watch and the Ladies will be inside with the adult Ladies. They will be mentored by College age students who will be volunteering their time during the mission week. There will be at least four other key adults to chaperone this event. The week will consist of quiet time with the Lord, learning team building skills, sacrificial service to the community and learning to use their God given talents. There will be a praise and worship band, speaker and fun activities planned during the week. Each student will be going to various work sites. Each work site may have different projects, such as light construction, painting, clean up, landscaping, etc....In the afternoons students will be leading a community kids camp which will located at Haven Place.
