MYGB will continue to offer its Quran program with the hope that this program will help our youth bond with the Quran through this experience Inshallah. By the end of each session of MYGB Quran program participants will have developed: *- greater appreciation of the words of Allah; *- better ability to read and recite the Quran; *- better understanding of some of the basic concepts addressed by the verses repeated in the short chapters. The program will also have a memorization component based on the youths abilities and readiness for memorization. All teachers and volunteers have tremendous experience working with youth in this particular field. Groups will be divided by age and then by competency level. Prairie View Christian Camp and the Sold Out Youth Group will be holding a paintball tournament on September 17th starting at 9 AM for ALL AGES. A gun, a mask, unlimited CO2, 500 rounds of paintballs, LUNCH, and a full day of fun all for only $20! Please come join us!! Anyone who needs a ride to the tournament can meet at the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church at 1219 N. Plum St. in Wellington and we will leave the church at 8 AM.

Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

Camp FMES offers exciting summer programs for children ages 3-14 in arts, sports, outdoor exploration, gardening, science, and cooking. We have as resources our Montessori-trained staff and classrooms, our 9 acre grounds with extensive gardens, the 600+ acre Powell Butte (10 minutes by foot), and our Columbia Gorge base camp at Bridal Veil. Our journey is going to be filled with: * All meals and snacks are included (kosher for Passover) * Magical experiences with our friends * Building an emperor with a palace and the pyramids * Reenacting the story with props and costumes * Experimenting with water, sand, during Science and Art. * Sensory tables filled with different material to find treasures * Our days will be filled with cooking project, scavenger hunts, games and more. Join us as we create mystical moments in our SDJA kingdom.
