Power Haus Cheerleading Summer Camp - Columbia, IL
Come join Coach Liz for Summer Camps. Breakfast and a snack are provided, but please bring your own lunch. We will watch movies, play games, build mat forts, and much more. Summer Strength and Speed Training Girls - 9th-12th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Black All classes will be taught in the state of the art Lattner Center located on the west side of the Upper School. Some sessions will take place on the turf or track at Spartan Stadium located just to the east of the Beren Middle School. The summer staff of Troy Black, Mike Gehrer, Destiny Clark, Cam Clark, and other staff as needed have many years of proven experience and knowledge. The curriculum and techniques like the training center are state of the art and are presented in a positive uplifting environment. Each session has a curriculum molded to the skill sets and abilities of the students. Strength and Speed - For the 6th year, we will be offering a class that is designed for the female athlete. Female athletes need to work on their strength and speed just like the males. The focus of the program will be on developing overall body strength, learning proper lifting technique, improved jumping ability, agility, speed improvement, and core strength. A variety of exercises and drills will be used over the 8-week program. The participants age, experience, and limitations will be used when designing the participants workouts. Summer Camp 2016 Session 1 - FCC
From the first day to the last campers will choose an instrument, form a band and write an original song to perform for their friends, families and the rock camp community. Each day campers will have instrument instruction, band practice and attend a series of informational, interactive and meaningful workshops. Summer Camp is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an end-of-session showcase on the following weekend. All campers should bring a lunch, but no instruments are necessary — we provide all the gear! Extended Care- AM - Main Campus
Open to all camp participants, summer extended care will provide the same top-notch service and activity as the rest of our programs, while offering additional flexibility for working families. Summer Extended Care times AM: 7:30–8:30 AM PM: 3:00–4:00 PM Both morning and afternoon extended care sessions are available, but no mid-day care is available. For example, a child registered for a half-day morning camp may register for AM extended care (7:30–8:30 AM), but must still be picked up at the completion of the camp half-day at 11:30 AM. In the same way, an afternoon half-day camper may register for PM extended care (3:00–4:00 pm). Extended care sessions must be registered as an entire week, not by single days. Summer Extended Care Cost $40 per week, per block (full day campers who wish to have both extended care blocks will be charged $75 per week) * Any camper not picked up within 15 minutes of their daily camp completion will be sent to extended care, and a $10 fee will be charged. Storybook Art Camp - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 7 and up Description: Young authors and artists will have fun writing, illustrating and creating their very own story book! Through the beautiful art of watercolors combined with watercolor pencils, children will express their creative ideas to write their own story, design their own characters and paint backgrounds to illustrate their very own storybook!
