Multi sport camps are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports on one setting. In this class, we combine Baseball and Basketball into one fun filled program. Participants will learn the essential rules and skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as respect and teamwork. Going away to summer camp is a big moment for a child. Homesickness is normal for kids of all ages, especially those children who have not been away from home before. One of the first things parents should do is talk to their kids about the program, its length and the activities. If possible, the child should help decide which camp to attend. Baseball Camp - Grades 1-6 - Allmendinger Park
Grades 1-6 Whether your camper has played for a few seasons or is just starting out, this camp is the one to choose! Each day campers work on basic to advanced baseball skills and play a game, too! Participants learn in a safe, structured environment, have fun and gain confidence playing baseball. Daily hitting, fielding, pitching and outfield stations are featured as well as daily trivia contests and prizes for everyone! Campers receive a written evaluation on their skills. Campers should bring mitts, bats, snack, sunscreen and water bottles marked with their name. Coaches: GVP Sports staff. Monday-Friday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp will meet in the rain, shelter available for severe weather. The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them.
