Here are the details of the 2nd Annual Teen and Campus Fall Kickoff! The location is going to be the Mira Costa High School Auditorium at: 1401 Artesia Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 United States The worship and lesson will go from 6:30pm - 8pm, and from 8pm-9:30pm we will have a College Fair! Each campus ministry of the LA Church will be represented. Martin Chairez will be our main speaker of the night, as we give an incredible vision of staying focused in this harvest season. We highly encourage the parents of the Juniors and Seniors to come, to get any questions answered during the college fair and to catch a vision for what the coming years will hold for their student. Product Design & Development– Ages 12-16 - Art Explorers Studio
This camp is a young designers dream come true! With an emphasis on the creative process, campers will design and construct their own products from found objects, recycled materials, clay, wire, metal and other building materials; sketch a window display for an imaginary company, and use various art media to complete products. Campers will learn about form, structure, the elements of design and three-dimensional concepts. Stretch your imagination and join us in this creative workshop environment! Week 2 Day Camper - Rose Lake Youth Camp
Our always popular Day Camp is a favorite for many children ages 4-13. This session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Wednesday through Friday. The cost includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. This is a great introduction to camp life and activities and focuses on the all-time favorite camp activities of swimming, archery, hiking, songs, kayaking, gaga pit, bouldering wall, crafts, and games. Depending on the age and abilities of our youngest day campers, some activities may be adjusted or modified to be age appropriate. Day Camp has an optional Thursday overnight, allowing children to get a taste of resident camp. The Thursday Overnight includes dinner and an evening snack. Children will enjoy campfires and special events and games not offered during the normal Day Camp day. If you would like your child to participate, please indicate this option on the camp registration and there is no additional fee for the Thursday Overnight program. The minimum age for the overnight is 7 years of age. In addition, for an additional $15 families who need extended Day Camp care can sign children up for this option which runs 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Extended care includes breakfast. 231 768 4351
