The basic design of the CDS Baseball camp is to help young baseball players develop a fundamental baseball skill set and learn tactical elements of the game. The goal of the camp is to equip campers with the skills to compete at a high level of play. The camp will be directed by David Houseton, CDS Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Covenant Day School. He will be assisted by his coaching staff as well as former and returning Covenant Day baseball players. Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well.
