Want to find out if a career in aviation or the Air Force Academy is for you? Apply for the Teen Aviation Camp today! Camp is held June 18-24 in Colorado Springs, CO at the USAF Academy. Interested teens, ages 13-18, must apply by Apr. 18. CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. This unique partnership will give campers additional opportunities at camp including, but not limited to, hiking, nature education, mountain biking, archery, and arts and crafts. Campers depart from the Kiwanis Ramada near the Splash Pad at Fountain Park at 8:30 AM on Monday and return at 4:00 PM on Wed. Bring your American Girl doll to camp with you, and together, you can tell a story! Using iMovie, you will create a short video starring your AG doll(s)! Create a script, choose costumes, build scenery, shoot footage, edit your scenes, etc. Learn the basics of iMovie while having fun with your AG dolls. While morning activities are geared toward the American Girl theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time.
