Soccer Camp - Skills N Thrills - Jack Jackter Intermediate School
Soccer stars learn to enhance technical skills, build new skills, and learn basic tactics including attacking and defending. Over the week, players will be self assessed using standardized National Soccer Tests focusing on the technical aspects of the game, along with the UK Quiz, and World Cup Competition. Each child receives a t-shirt and certificate at the end of the week! Instructed by UK Socca -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JJIS Soccer Field. Please bring adequate water for each participant, apply sunscreen/sunblock daily. Please wear appropriate clothing. Cleats are fine for outside, however please also bring sneakers for indoor use (gymnasium) as well. Rain location is JJIS Gym. Tuesday - Knitting - HoLa Lower School
This class begins with essential lessons for to empower new knitters. Lessons will include choosing supplies, reading instructions, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off. Using these basic techniques, participants will learn how to create different knitting patterns using the knit and purl techniques, including seed stitch, ribbing, stockinette, and garter. By the end of the class, the students will have created a scarf using techniques learned in the class. (201) 427-1458

CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from The Lion King Disneys Broadway musical, The Lion King, is one of the biggest and most beloved theater shows of all time. And theres no question why. Join us as we not only sing and dance through songs like I Just Cant Wait to Be King and Hakuna Matata, but we will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring Pride Rock to life! Campers will work with professional teaching artist to find creative ways to capture the essence of these animals and characters through puppet making, costume building and other elements of design. An informal performance will culminate this ensemble-building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Seussical Jr Week Everyone is invited on our Seussical adventure this summer! Let your imagination take you into the wild and wacky world of Dr. Suess and some of his best loved stories such as "Horton Hears A Who" and "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish". Natural History Museum of Utah Art Camp - Natural History Museum of Utah
Join us as we take art to the Natural History Museum of Utah. We will meet on location and will set-up our drawing boards to sketch dinosaurs, gems, geology, and much more. We will use several mediums including: pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, markers, and ink. This is a great time to learn new art techniques and learn about Utahs ancient history. Young Artist K-2nd - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
This studio class will provide young art students with a multi-media introduction to the visual arts (including painting, and ceramics). Your student will explore a wide variety of different art media and tools, employ creative problem-solving, and learn to express themselves through visual imagery.
