Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; and from 10:00-5:30pm on Thursday; and from 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games, educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36 In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. Fugitive Spring Camp is the perfect opportunity for all ages and experience to learn to run, jump, climb, vault, roll, swing, flip and more from the most experienced staff in Dallas. Fugitive campers will be exposed to tips, drills, and games that build strength, mobility, coordination, teamwork, and leadership while reinforcing good technique in all the major methods of movement. The Cardinal Volleyball Camp, run by the Cardinal coaches, is a great way to start learning the skills and expectations of the 9-12 program. We will touch on the very basic components of individual skill and progress toward exposure to more advanced concepts that we implement at the varsity level. A variety of individual skills will be addressed including: basic passing form, defensive movement, serving approach footwork, blocking footwork and transition movement. Team concepts that will be touched on include: offensive and defensive systems, serve receive patterns and positive team interactions. This is your chance to get a jump-start on understanding what being a Cardinal volleyball player means both on and off the court.
