Tuesday will be inspired by Gingerbread Baby and the making of gingerbread ornaments. Eric Carle takes the lead on Wednesday as we read the Mixed-up Chameleon and mix primary colors for an art project. I love this camp for my kids because they were able to go and have a great time while staying safe, but the best part is that they get to come home at night and tell us all about their adventurous day. I love hearing about the laughs and the good times and hearing how awesome the staff is. We really couldn't ask for a better day camp for our kids. Exploring Science, Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Through the Art of Glass Blowing and Flameworking Join Ignite Glass Studios for an end of Summer experience like no other! Teens ages 13-17 will work with Ignites’ experienced instructors to learn the arts of Glass Blowing, Solid Sculpting, and Flameworking. No prior glass experience necessary. Each student will create at least 3 finished glass projects, blown and/or solid during the session. $350 per person

Camp Whetstone Session 5 - Whetstone Community Center
Here at Camp Whetstone our mission is simple...for kids to have a safe, fun, learning experience each and every week. Each week we will have a new theme that will correlate with the different activities and programs scheduled. Our campers always look forward to the large variety of field trips every summer, which could include: the Columbus Zoo, Zoombezi Bay, Columbus Clippers game, ice skating, Metro Parks, gem mining and swimming at Tuttle Pool. (Some events and trips may require an additional fee to be paid, in cash, at the beginning of each week.) So, lets make new friends and lifelong memories together, at the always exciting, Camp Whetstone! Theme: Health & Safety Flexible drop off time between 7:15-9 am. Flexible pick up time between 4-6 pm. Breakfast and lunch provided. Some field trips and special events may require an additional fee and are subject to change.
