Tulsa Kingdom Kids Christmas Gala 2016 - Tulsa, OK
The Kingdom Kids Christmas Gala is a benefit dinner and silent auction to raise funds and awareness for Kingdom Kids Homes. We are excited to share pictures, videos, and stories about what God has done through our ministry this past year and to share our hopes and dreams for the future! This years Christmas Gala is extra special because it will also be the book release party for "The Daring Destination" - a book written by our founder, Kristie Chute, on the story behind Kingdom Kids Homes. Kid's Yoga 3-Day Winter Camp - Centralia, WA
Beat those cabin fever blues and join Madlyne for Kid's Yoga Day Camp this Winter at Embody! WHO: All kids ages 6 to 12! Mother-Daughter Weekend Retreat - Dahlonega, GA
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is offering a Mother-Daughter Retreat for older teens, young adults, moms, and grandmothers (even in-laws). Experience moments of fun, intentional conversations, and opportunities to get to know each other as more than just "mom" and "daughter", but as women of God. MUSIC/CHORUS Branch Out into Music Singing and playing an instrument can be so much fun, but some students just dont know where to begin. This fun-filled class includes music basics, singing, and playing the recorder. From there, students may be able to branch out into playing another instrument, or learn to sing harmony in a choir. THE SCIENCE OF GARDENS Gardening, kids dig it. Each day of class will have a hands-on science and gardening theme. On the first day of class, we will learn about the basic needs of plants and students will plant seeds. On each subsequent day we will explore topics such as leaf adaptations, flowers & pollinators, fruit, seeds & seed dispersal, beneficial insects, garden art, and sustainable gardening. July 18-21: Young Archaeologists! (Ages 5-6) - Mountain Kids!
Santa Fe is home to a rich, diverse and ancient history of many cultures. This week we will put on our detective hats to sleuth out some of our local lore combined with outdoor exploration. We will learn about archeology and what a real archeologist does. Well travel to Bandelier and Pecos National Monument to learn about ancestral pueblo people, the Santa Fe Trail and civil war. Of course, no week of Mountain Kids would be complete without plenty of good old-fashioned adventures in nature! 505-699-6230
