Beat those cabin fever blues and join Madlyne for Kid's Yoga Day Camp this Winter at Embody! WHO: All kids ages 6 to 12! WHEN: December 28th, 29th and 30th (Mon, Tue, Wed) - 2:00pm to 3:30pm WHERE Embody Movement Studio: 115 S. Tower Ave. Centralia, WA WHY: Fun! Relaxation! Play! Strength! Flexibility! Kid friendly yoga poses, stretches and breathing exercises are incorporated with games that teach positive ways to channel and expel excess energy! Your children won't forget this experience and will take-away great stretches and poses to do at home. Kids should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Madlyne is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and has over three years of experience working with children of varying ages. During the school year, Madlyne works at R.E. Music/Chorus-The Science of Gardening - Amador Elementary School
MUSIC/CHORUS Branch Out into Music Singing and playing an instrument can be so much fun, but some students just dont know where to begin. This fun-filled class includes music basics, singing, and playing the recorder. From there, students may be able to branch out into playing another instrument, or learn to sing harmony in a choir. THE SCIENCE OF GARDENS Gardening, kids dig it. Each day of class will have a hands-on science and gardening theme. On the first day of class, we will learn about the basic needs of plants and students will plant seeds. On each subsequent day we will explore topics such as leaf adaptations, flowers & pollinators, fruit, seeds & seed dispersal, beneficial insects, garden art, and sustainable gardening. We will culminate with an I Can Eat A Whole Plant Feast and students will take home their seedlings from Day 1. Keep Calm and Plant On. 9258282551 x5431

Santa Fe is home to a rich, diverse and ancient history of many cultures. This week we will put on our detective hats to sleuth out some of our local lore combined with outdoor exploration. We will learn about archeology and what a real archeologist does. Well travel to Bandelier and Pecos National Monument to learn about ancestral pueblo people, the Santa Fe Trail and civil war. Of course, no week of Mountain Kids would be complete without plenty of good old-fashioned adventures in nature! 505-699-6230

Be a player in the exciting new sport that is sweeping the world. Learn the rules, formations, and positions that are required to compete at a competitive level.
