This trip is reserved only for our senior high campers. The joy of skimming across Adirondack Lakes in kayaks is one to be remembered for a lifetime. Your route will take you north from Long Lake through the Adirondacks most wild and beautiful canoe area. Your group will travel along the Raquette River, into Stony Creek Ponds, and finally into Upper Saranac where a special Island waits for our campers alone. Baseball Camp - Twin Lakes Church
Learn the basics of pitching, catching, throwing, and batting as well as big-league skills in crazy ways! Campers will need close-toed shoes and a personal mitt if you own it! We provide bats, baseballs, and a variety of mitts if your camper needs. Cleats are not necessary, but permitted outside if desired. Cleats are not allowed inside, so be sure to have tennis shoes as well. 831-465-3386
Summer Camp Juniper Jedis - Skyliner Lodge
Wildheart Juniper Jedis know how to tap into the invisible web of interconnectedness and travel through the woods without being noticed. Students will learn the art of silently stalking animals and people. In addition, they will practice listening closely to the Earth Force. Camouflage is essential for all Juniper Jedis and we will spend a good deal of our time practicing this skill of becoming invisible. Each participant will leave the camp with a complete camouflage kit, which will enable them to quickly blend in to their surroundings, no matter what the situation. Additionally, students will develop their ability to understand the language of the birds, giving them a birds-eye-view of their surroundings and informing them what their prey is up to, as well as any nearby predators. All of this and well still have time to play and enjoy ourselves as every Juniper Jedi knows how to have a good time! Playing in a state-of-the-art field house, with four basketball courts, basketball camp at Loyola is designed to improve the fundamental offensive and defensive skills of each player in a fun, yet competitive setting. The camp is geared to improve the skills of the beginning player and the more advanced player. There are four basic goals of the camp: 1. Each camper has an enjoyable experience 2. Each camper loves the game more by the end of the week 3. Each camper improves his/her skills 4. Each camper learns how to continue that improvement after the camp. During the camp day, campers will participate in station sessions with work on fundamentals, 2 camp contests, 2 games, a shooting session, and 1 film or pool session. Loyolas varsity head coach, Josh Davalli, leads these camps. He was an all league player in the Baltimore Catholic League and played Division I basketball at Towson University.
