My 10 year old son can’t wait to sign up for this camp again next year. He is an active boy who loves to try new things. He learned how to canoe, hike and shot archery. He also enjoyed played sports with campers who also like physical activity. He still keep in touch with many of his camp friends, and they all plan to sign up for the same week to be reunited again.

Winter Break Camp for the Teen Horse Lover - Spring Grove, IL
Up to three fun filled days (Monday, 12/28; Tuesday, 12/29 and Wednesday, 12/30 - you pick which day(s) you want to be here) with horses for those 13 to 17 years of age. No previous riding experience necessary. All riders, no matter their experience level will have fun playing in our indoor arena with our holiday trail course. The course can be ridden a number of different ways enabling the camper to build on their riding skills no matter where they are starting from. Campers will also be helping with some part of the day-to-day care of the horses and ponies that live here at Meadowsweet Ranch and each day will include some educational time in our heated club room. Breaks and lunch will be enjoyed in our heated club room also.

A specialty camp with strong emphasis on fundamentals, focusing on shooting skills and drills, and individual offensive moves. Campers are taught the valuable habits of individual offense (shooting mechanics, footwork, moves with and without the ball, passing, etc.) in a structured, non-competitive and positive atmosphere. Looking for that extra edge in putting the ball in the back of the net? RailHawks professional strikers will teach the fundamental skills of shooting, including instep drives, inside/outside of the foot shots, volleys, headers, and more. Music Theater Camp - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Our most popular camp every summer! We provide a comprehensive program of intensive classes in a wide variety of theater performing arts, each taught by a working professional in that field. Students train for 3 weeks, five days a week, in the 3 disciplines of musical theater - dance, music, and acting in addition to rehearsing a full musical which will culminate in one of our main stage productions. Developing the ability to sustain concentration throughout the process is one of the most important skills that students take away from the program. Along with the daily basic skills work, students will learn and grow attending separate workshops such as audition preparation, bringing songs to life, how to conquer your nerves and life in the business from professionals that are IN the business! This camp is for the serious singing actor. You will work with professionals from the local DFW stages as well as Broadway and Opera! Camp culminates in full productions of a show to be named soon (June 24-26 and July 1-3) for our older students and Junie B. Jones (June 27 – July 2) for our younger students. 817-421-2825
