This day camp is for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. My 6 year old son and my 10 year old daughter have both have learned the importance of being responsible and respectful through this camp. What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 10, 2015. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. When is Youth Councils 2015? Youth Councils 2015 is being held from April 10-12, 2015 at Wonderland Camp & Conference Center. What is the theme for Youth Councils 2015? The theme is RISE ABOVE, and it’s based on Colossians 3:1 (NASB): “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." As we walk through this life, it can be really easy to forget that our identity is hidden in Christ and not in the things of this world. So many things around us...

KIDS CAMP- 8:30am-4pm (aftercare available until 5:30pm) COST: $10 donation (includes lunch) Let's work together to build the Beloved Community! Activities include: Singing, songwriting, sports, skits, stories, arts and crafts teaching the message of community and nonviolence. We Work Together, We Rock! To register your child, email: info@communityrocks.org COMMUNITY SERVICE: For adults and families (kids recommended to be 10yrs & up.) Registration begins at 8:30am at Community Rocks! New Jersey. Service will take place between 9am-2:30pm and various hours in between depending on service site, location and project. Service projects include: Camden Rescue Mission, Virtua Health Foundation's CASTLE Program and more TBA. Service folks, PLEASE BRING A BAGGED LUNCH! Description: In this course we will look at cultural pioneers, those who dared to push the boundaries of art, music, film and literature, and the profound effect they had on the status quo. We will explore a wide variety of artists, from William Blake (poet/artist) and Art Blakey (jazz drummer) to Chuck D (activist, emcee, author) and David Lynch (film maker). We will also harness alternate and augmented reality technology to create an interactive installation on NCSSMs campus. Goals: Participants will understand the role of the rebel and how the rebels outsider perspective creates cultural change. Participants will be also work collaboratively to plan and build both an augmented reality exhibit and an alternate reality game to teach participants about the history of rebellious artists and thinkers. 919-416-2635
