Students will have the oppurtunity to master the use of their voice and body to create a character. 2nd Annual Fox Camp Youth Hunt - undefined, MS
Hosted by Jeremy and Joni McLarty. Saturday, November 5th. Eat at 12:00, draw for hunting spots at 1:30, hunt at 2:30 until dark (exact stopping time will be announced on day of hunt). All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. This is the first youth camp hosted by St. Nofer Youth Meeting. We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN. The Cabin reserved is located in Gatlinburg on one of the highest peaks and the views of Mt. Le Conte are just spectacular, downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg ski resort by day and the beautiful city lights by night. We will have 2 Lectures, PEP talks, spiritual discussions, chats among the youth, a lot of entertainments using the cabin features, all that aside from touring around the city. This Camp will be a guys only camp. Dates: September 25th – 27th (LEAVE FRIDAY at 5:00 PM— RETURN SUNDAY at 8:00 PM) The cost is $85/person (3 days, 2 nights) The cost includes: Cabin, Transportation, and Food Note: TBD attraction (additional cost will be added depending on the attraction). Who doesnt love a good mystery? You will answer the questions, Who did it?, How did it happen?, and Do we have proof? Science will help us answer all these questions. You will fine-tune your detective skills of observation and creative thinking in this fun and inquisitive camp. StoryDance! ( for preschoolers aged 2-5) - University City Arts League
For 2-5 year olds, this weekly class combines creative movement with story time! Its a fun learning experience that builds language acquisition, developmental movement, conceptual understanding, personal expression, social skills, and creative problem solving. We will use our bodies with assistance from our expanding imaginations to move through stories to reinforce verbal literacy through the young childs strong kinesthetic intelligence. Open to Philadelphia Freedom faceoff players first due to field rental. Each Winter Open Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill.
