Peter Pan Mugglebee Theatre is excited to announce our Summer season of performance opportunities. For the first time we will offer three camps and two different productions. Our two-week musical theatre camps, led by husband and wife team, David and Erin Mugglebee, offer hands-on-experience for all performance levels with the artistic aspects of creating a musical production, from performing Broadway songs and choreography to building sets and designing costumes and props. With an emphasis on creativity, students will be inspired to express themselves in a fun and dynamic atmosphere Each two-week camp session includes rehearsals, production design, drama games, and a final production for friends and family. TAC Summer Camp: Surface Design: Ages 11+12 - Week 6 - Brooklyn Studio
Through daily exposure to textile media, campers explore new avenues of creativity, improve their dexterity, and make new friends while learning about historical and contemporary use of the fiber arts. In addition to structured class and craft time there is daily free play and outdoor time, weather permitting. Campers aged 11-12 visit TAC daily, for project-based classes inspired by their weekly field trip to a current textile related exhibition in New York. In this class, students will have weekly projects to create stunning landscapes, architectural structures, villages and more in Creative Mode of Minecraft. WEEK 8: Ages 4-8: MARINE BIOLOGY AND OCEANOGRAPHY - SciTech Kids
Marine biology is the study of marine organisms in the ocean. Kids will learn what lurks in various bodies of water. First, they will use a probe to study the water in Central Park and collect water sample to identify species in their habitat. Students will visit a marine habitat to enjoy the oceans beauty. They will also build and deploy a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to study deeper water in New York City to see how exploration is done.
