This is our HALF DAY option for Young Scientist. This stimulating camp offers an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Campers will also learn how the scientific method helps give us the answers to our many questions. Well be very busy in this camp while exploring projects and experiments in topics such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and MORE! This camp is perfect for the most curios little scientists, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Glowing firefly, Seashell necklace, Slime Creation, Water Bottle Rocketry. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Good Afternoon, It's time to get ready for camp. Below, please see a short version (for those in a hurry) and a longer version (for the detail people) of what you need to know. Short Version Camp is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we do every year. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all students to attend. We're shooting for June 20 - 24. Camp Registration will not be on-line this year. Paper Forms will be available soon. (Class might go until 5:00) And every Saturday after that except 11/28 and 12/26 Recital 1/17/16 Class Description --------------- ACT I - INTRODUCTION TO ACTING II: AGES 5-17 Students ages will be exposed to various acting warm ups and exercises connecting movement and sound. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Returning students from the Summer Camp will be given an advanced curriculum --------- Acting Class Fee $100.00 for 14 weeks Payment schedules are available Saturdays 3:30- 4:30 or 5:00 October 3 - January 16 No class 11/28 or 12/26

Camp Cordovas Sports Adventure. Camp Cordova is hosting a specialty day camp at Lincoln Village Park. This day camp is perfect for the extremely active child ages 8-11. Enjoy weekly themes and field trips, along with a variety of camp-style sports games & adventure activities with an emphasis on fun, learning, and participation.
