Monday night classes are 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 1/4 Will also have class times on Saturdays from 9-11 dates are 12/5, /12/12, 12/19, 1/9 A Creative Journey for kids to discover their divine gifts of art and cooking. Instructors Cassia Allee & Julie Sparks Camp experiences will be In Art Painting, Mixed Media, Working with Clay, and Woven fabrics. In Cooking Measuring, Reading Recipes, Food safety, and much more.
ORIGINS Youth Camp 2016 - Sparks, OK
Parents the Youth have chosen Camp #2 which is May 30th - June 3rd. I know it seems far away but we MUST have an idea on a head count so we can go ahead and get our week reserved. It will more than likely be 100% full within a week so we would choose week #3 which is June 6th-June 10th. THE KIDS are choosing Camp #2 because of the speaker we had last year will be at Camp #2. Please chat with your YOUTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and let me know by this Wedneday if at all possible. I would like to send in the registration fee for each kid this week to reserve our spots. Minecraft Design - Game Design 6/20-6/24 - Recreation-D.P.S.
Minecraft is more than just a popular game for kids. At AccelerateKID, we use it to teach information technology, entrepreneurship and computer programming. In Minecraft Camps, kids will learn about the Minecraft PC edition how all the commands work, the different modes & Worlds, and apply STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) to the projects. The goal is to apply creativity and technology to build world landmarks, cities and amusement parks to present on the last day. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt. Build an App Workshop - 4.0 Schools
Ever wonder what its like to work at a tech company? In this workshop, well look at the many aspects of what goes into building a product like Facebook or Twitter. Students will wear many hats, playing the role of product designers, developers, and customers. To top it all off, students will build their own application and gain a basic understanding of the Ruby programming language. This is a great introduction to programming for teens in grades 9-12. A basketball skills camp for boys in grades 5-8. This camp is focused on developing players individual skills in a fun and competitive environment. There will be daily station work for skill development as well as daily shooting contests, a 1 on 1 tournament by grade level, 5 on 5 full court games, and a 5 on 5 tournament on Friday. 1-314-707-8685

The MacRostie Art Center work/study program for teen artists increases accessibility to our educational programming for teens while providing opportunity to experience real-world visual art administration and will look great on any resume or college application. Teen artists may choose to focus on experience in exhibitions and curatorial work, art education, event planning, or any other aspect of what the MAC does for the art community. This opportunity is open to artists ages 15-18. For every 6 hours worked, students will receive a $60 voucher towards the tuition of any MacRostie art workshop to be used in the following year.
