Daily activities for children who are in the two-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include age-appropriate educational toys, materials, and games based upon the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. I was eager to enroll at Camp Newaygo for one important reason: we could all share the summer fun as a family. Children 6 years old and up (under 8 must be accompanied by an adult for entire class). Ready for a winter break without hearing ‘mom, I’m bored!’ This year is sure to be a hit when you little decorators join our Kids Camp! 2 hour decorating session daily for the week (Monday-Friday). Campers ages 15 to 18 try out different sports and learn teamwork and gain independence in diabetes care. The campers stay at Rotary’s Camp Florida, in Brandon and bus to different venues each day. Activities are under the direction of various college coaches or certified instructors and include martial arts, volleyball, soccer, water skiing, golf, basketball, tennis, and softball. Planned night activities include roller skating, bowling, and a night at Tropicana Stadium watching the Devil Rays.

Summer is coming quickly and that means your children will be out of the house more and running around. You may not always be there to keep an eye on them so they need awareness and physical skills to back them up. Summer time is when your children have a greater chance of possible interactions with strangers and potential preditors. Let us help you get them armed with battle ready skills. What they will learn: *Abduction defense skills *What to do if they can't run *Assertiveness training and command presence *Think smarter than the bigger, stroner bad guy, and more... Cost will be $35.00. That's little to pay for "safety insurance" that can last a lifetime! Feeding Frenzy - EcoAdventures
Feeding Frenzy: March 22 YUM YUM..its feeding time at Ecoadventures, and theres no better place to be! Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Feeding time at EA is a busy, busy, day and we need your help to make sure all the hungry mouths get their fair share. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite! Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. Runs Monday- Friday 8 am - 2pm - Offering early drop off and late pick up for an additional $10 per hour - Limited space we only take up to 10 campers per week - Multiple kid and refer a friend discounts - camp photos included (must sign waiver) - Horse show every Friday (ribbons are given out) parents are welcome to come - will learn about other farm animals & how to care for them Suggested to have and be own helmet that fits properly (will supply if needed)! Summer Ice Hockey camps have been in Ann Arbor since 1984 after the arrival of Red Berenson, Michigans current head coach. The camp has built its stellar reputation by having a dedicated and professional staff, organized practices, having outstanding rink, dorm, and off-ice facilities, and a well-supervised daily schedule that is created to promote safety and most importantly, FUN!! While a week may be designated a "AAA week (those players who play at this level), the camp is still open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). 734-647-1201

Debbie Gantt, Performing Arts Director at Brookwood School, returns! Joined by her son, Dan Gantt, they will direct and produce a high quality musical theater production. Campers will enjoy both individually tailored and group lessons in voice, acting, and dance. At the end of the week, students will perform a musical revue of previously performed Brookwood 8th grade plays. Students will repurpose costumes, sets, and scores.
