More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. Girls Only! Day Hiking - The Evergreen School
This 4-day week will include two days of moderate hiking, followed by a more leisurely day outside, and will culminate in an early start to accomplish our most rigorous hike of the week on Friday. Anyone who identifies as a girl may join us for this relaxing and invigorating week of hiking.
