Environmental Art Camp (VSA Tennessee partnership) - Gallatin, TN
Environmental Art Camp is a program created specifically for individuals with disabilities over the age of 13 who are interested in the environment and have a love of art. The camp will be under the direction of VSA Tennessee teaching artist, Dee Kimbrell. During the camp, the young people will learn about environmental issues and their effect on our national parks. Participants will create their own tunnel books that reflect ecosystems within the parks. They will also create a larger tunnel book specific to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This book will be given to the park as a 100th anniversary gift at Tremont in October. The book will remain on site as an educational tool. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis to the first 20 who register. Registration available by email at: userk7706@comcast.net

Please come enjoy the sun and fun at Camp Buckeye this summer. We have tons of exciting trips and activities planned for your child. Camp Buckeye has plenty to do including, outdoor pool, large baseball fields, and a wonderful trail and nature area. Recent updates to our facility allow us to come inside and cool down when it gets too hot. Our staff is friendly and excited to have a great summer. See you soon. Theme: Discover CBUS Flexible drop off time between 7:15-9 am. Flexible pick up time between 4-6 pm. Breakfast and lunch provided. Some field trips and special events may require an additional fee. Not all activities during a session will focus on the theme. The videos will be featured on the Arts Center Website and the short film submitted into the Cucalorus Festival! Afternoon Only (1:00 - 4:00 pm) Orange St. Pottery Camp – Our 2nd Summer of Pottery! Campers will learn the basics of ceramics in this afternoon camp! All campers will walk away with their very own completed piece of pottery. Supply fee of $10.
