Learn and create riverside games using found rocks, sticks, and whatever else the river gives us. Build miniature test rafts and race them. Build a rafts large and small. Learn about useful and edible aquatic plants and animals. Track aquatic creatures along riverbank including the beaver, muskrat, heron, raccoon and more. Build primitive forts. Make and fish with a simple cane pole just like Huck and Tom. Use cane pole as part of stick and bindle (hobo satchel) to carry your goods during your travels. Search for treasures to fill your bindle. Barter and trade for each others treasures. 507-272-5320

What I like about this camp is my kids can choose between a day camp (for ages 5-12), an overnight camp (for ages 9-13) or a specialty camp (ages 11-17). JUMP START SPORTS- LACROSSE CAMP (FULL-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Classes will challenge gross motor skill development such as hopping, skipping, and jumping, enhance balance, improve coordination and introduce fundamental of gymnastics. This camp will include instruction in balance beam & floor exercise. We will emphasize developing strength, flexibility and coordination through daily games, challenges and activities. This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have at least one year of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week.
