It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Cost is $119 per month for children of Apogee members and $139 for children of non-Apogee members Class runs 330-430pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Interested? Middle School "Budding Stars" Tennis Camp - The Prairie School
A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available. A Celestial, Star Wars influenced mixed-media art camp taught by our own Princess Leia, Christina Evans! Assemblage, painting, clay and cartooning are in the plans, with found object robot sidekicks, clay characters, marshmallow constellations, modern-art planetary canvases, and pod racer design are all part of this out of this world week! Each camper will exhibit a piece in our end of summer Art Show! 734-416-4278

Shine your tiaras, stretch your tiptoes and dust off your tutus. Spend the week learning dances and stories about your favorite Princesses! Crafts will be made each day and our week will end with a Princess Tea Party (with all the dancers dressed as their favorite princess or prince, of course!) and an informal showing of our Princess Dance for friends and family! Princes are welcome too! Materials: A separate fee of $10 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp for arts & craft materials. Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes (girls); shorts, T-shirts, and ballet shoes or socks (boys). Bring a princess dress, prince attire, or costume on the last day of camp.
