A few days to BE A KID AGAIN! Join us while we have a great week of fun and fellowship. WoodmenLife members and their spouses, ages 55 and up. Camp fee is ONLY $35 Trust me, these aren't "just old folks", we have a blast and do almost all the same activities the youth campers do! New for 2016 we have added a day trip to Millstone Creek Orchards in Ramseur, Thursday October 6th. Curiosity Camp - Vasona Lake County Park
Campers let your curiosity run wild with hands-on science activities, crafts and guided exploration of our beautiful outdoor venue at Vasona County Lake Park in Los Gatos! Join us to dig into the fundamentals of botany by planting seeds and investigating the basics of plant life. What about the world below ground? Take a closer look at worms and learn about the importance of bees as pollinators and learn how these incredible creatures communicate. Also actively experiment with solids and liquids to learn more about states of matter. In addition to doing daily science activities we will have opportunities to explore different park habitats, play games, and engage in fun craft projects. 408-827-5507

2nd Session - Harry Potter - YSCP
Bio: Carol Pharo, Harry Potter Drama Club instructor, first explored the adventures of Harry Potter with her drama students at the International School of Amsterdam. Other themes included The Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Hobbit (with original music). She has continued working with these favorites in Centre County where she has also directed all-children casts for the operas Amahl and the Night Visitors, LOrfeo, and a ballet version of Winnie the Pooh. Ms. Pharo has taught at the Arts Conservatory, the Joan Kennedy Dance Center, The Music Academy, and the Academy of the Performing Arts. The Harry Potter Drama Club, for grades 3-8, is a young actors training, drawing upon the adventures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. This drama class will emphasize variety in vocal expressions and timing along with effective posture and gesture. There are parts for everyone, and favorite parts are continually switched, so that everyone has the opportunity to play the character of his/her dreams! Junior Golf Camp Ages 7-10 June 13th - Fox Creek Golf Club
An introduction to the game of golf with emphasis placed on fundamentals of grip, posture, and alignment. Introduction to the rules and etiquette of the game will be explained. Students will learn the difference between iron shots and tee shots, in addition to chipping and putting. Fun competitions will be held with in the class in each aspect of the the game. Winter Youth Basketball - Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
The winter basketball league at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church is designed to promote team fellowship, great social skills, physical activity and overall good health, etc. The deposit is non-refundable and after October 15, 2015, the total registration is due and is non-refundable.
