This is the perfect introduction to chemical reactions for curious middle school students! Each day, students will learn about the chemical interactions of atoms and molecules using hands-on lab activities, group activities, and class discussions. All materials will be provided, but students should wear clothes that are appropriate for lab activities. Kristen Tordillos teaches biology, physical science, and honors biology at Seattle Prep. She enjoys trying to come up with new and creative ways to teach scientific concepts, and she looks forward to focusing on the excitement that comes with chemical reactions! 2063240400.0

Kids Winter Boxing Camp #1 - Edmond, OK
Do the kids need a place to burn some energy and learn useful physical skills over the holiday break? In our Boxing camps your children will learn fundamental boxing and self-defense techniques in a safe and supportive environment. No experience necessary. You can bring your own gloves or we have gloves for sale. To accomodate your holiday plans we are offering 3 separate camps. Each camp will be Monday through Wednesday from noon to 2pm and is only $40 for the week. Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp Stew Night - Presque Isle, ME
On Friday, February 17th, starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM, Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp (ATLC) will be hosting Stew Night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club. For $6, you can get a combo of a Main Dish (Tomato Soup, Taco Soup, Chicken Stew, Venison Chili and Beef Stew), roll, drink and a dessert. Grilled cheese sandwiches will also be available to purchase for $1.00. Come on out and let us do the cooking for you! SESSION 2 JUNE 27-29 Catch a Wave – An introduction to musical theater Monday – Wednesday PM Session: 1:00-3:30pm For kids entering 1st or 2nd grade in the Fall of 2016 Fee: Early Bird - $50, General - $55 ($60 on or after May 15) Campers will learn to explore their creativity through music, movement, acting games, arts and crafts. This camp gives kids a great introduction to theater arts in a nurturing and warm atmosphere using beach-themed scene and music. Strider Push Bike Camp - Cottonwood Creek Park
This is where it all begins! Learning fun and balance as young as 2 years old, kids and families spend 45 minutes doing age appropriate games and skills in order to achieve proper balance and steering skills. Strider (push bike) camp is geared toward kids who are walking with their bikes, not fully sitting on the seat and not yet gliding or striding. But, it is also for those kids who are ready to learn how to turn, stop and maneuver obstacles. Parents will be hands on during this class. Junior Flyers offers younger campers an opportunity to experience Dayton basketball first hand. This one-day camp allows youngsters a preview of the Dayton Day Camp experience. Focusing on the fundamentals of basketball and having fun, this camp hopes to create a passion to play in young players. Staffed exclusively by the UD coaching staff and select players. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each session.
