Teen Director's Camp - New Bern, NC
Info and application posted under Children's Programs on Rivertowne's Website! www.rivertowneplayers.org This week long camp will meet every afternoon. We will work with local directors to learn technique, stage blocking and tableaus, the audition process, vetting and preparing a show, ect. Guest directors will visit with us to tell us about their personal techniques. There are VERY limited spots. An application will be available for the first two weeks of June. This is FREE OF CHARGE! We do hope to host a teen show this spring, and the production team will come from this camp.

This event is for both those who attended the Gathering and for those who were not able to attend. It will equip and re-ignite those who were at the Gathering to "bring the Gathering home" and to provide a feel of the Gathering to those who were not able to be there. Utilizing some of the resources, video and music from the Gathering and adding in some of our own, we will encourage youth to examine their story and the story of their community and congregation and to explore how God might be calling them to tell His story and affect change where they see injustice. Full Day 36Camp: Spring Break Programming & Technology Camp - NextGen Tech Learning
Full Day Camp - 9:00AM to 5:00PM This is a full day camp and will include following three sessions: 1. Introduction to Programming, Web Programming & JavaScript : 9:00am-12:00pm 2. 3D Printing and Digital Designing : 1:00pm-4:00m 3. Game Design using Minecraft Redstone : 4:00pm -5pm In the morning session, students will learn to make web pages and will make a mini website. They will learn programming fundamentals while learning JavaScript. Students will apply their JavaScript skills on the website. Students can take their website home on the last day of the camp. After lunch, they will dive into the world of 3D printing and get to know why everyone is so excited about 3D printing & endless possibilities it offers. They will learn how to design objects in 3 Dimensions. In Digital Design, students will learn how to create graphics for web use or printing. Fashion Illustration for Teens - Lower School
This class is specially designed with teens who enjoy fashion. We will explore the many stages of everyday lives through fashion illustrations, beginning with the basic fashion figures (croquis) and color, using multiple mediums, including prints, fabric and textiles, students will imagine how they would dress for current and future life events, and also gain an understanding of the fashion industry, as well as the impact of technology on fashion. Through class discussions, books, films, and documentaries, students will gain a greater understanding of the fashion world and illustration as a form of self expression. Rookie Sports Camp - Session 3 - Takoma Park Community Center
Have the little ones join us for a week of unique activities including T-ball, soccer, bowling, kickball, relays and more exciting daily events. Sessions take place in a safe, structured environment and sports are played through a series of games and activities. All the sports promote hand eye coordination, motor skills, group participation and communication skills. All participants must wear sneakers and dress appropriately. Paperwork will need to be submitted prior to the first day of camp.
