On Thursday, December 31st the Crash is headed to Rock Lake Christian Assembly for a Winter Retreat. We will be returning on January 2nd. Your student is not going to want to miss this. The cost is going to be $60 and this covers transportation, lodging and all there food. We are going to be studying through the book of Ephesians this weekend in a very powerful way. The Orthodox Church in America, on behalf of all Eastern Orthodox Youth Ministry/Camping Departments in America, is delighted to host this Annual Conference in 2016 at St. Seraphim's Cathedral in Dallas, TX. Clergy, campus ministers, youth workers, camp leaders, and volunteers gather every January for fellowship, worship, and continuing education. Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Parents gear up for an AMAZINGLY fun Spring Break. JAM Inc presents "jammin kids" Cheer, Dance, and Acting Camp, April 4th-8th. Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with the option of early drop off and late pick up. Your child will either learn a cheerleading or dance routine, a skit, or a combination of the three amongst other cool activities. Registration is $20 and tuition is $80 for the week. Camp fees include uniformed class attire, snacks, and a special gift to take home at the close of camp. Jr. engineers and Lego builders will love this camp by bringing Minecraft to life with Lego! Build a motorized walking creeper, a terrifying Ghast, or anything Minecrafty that your imagination can think of! This project-based camp combines the basic format of our engineering themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will use the Systems Engineering V to design, plan and explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects. This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 6th-9th grade.
