Makemie Woods is a wonderful place for kids to learn new things, meet new friends and become a part of a "family." The program has had consistent leadership for over 20 years- unsual for progams like this. Quality staff provide great role models. Both of my boys attended and had a wonderful time. Summer Camp Amelia Island 2015 - Fernandina Beach, FL
For those who teach dental hygiene or wish to receive required teaching methodology to teach dental hygiene this conference provides a variety of courses in general educational teaching methodology and specific subject teaching methodology. Courses include a flash drive of teaching materials. Visit our website for course descriptions and registration details. The courses are spread over 8 days. Aug 4 through 11, 2015. Hotel rates are $89 per night for double occupancy. Fly into Jacksonville FL airport. Half hour shuttle ride to hotel. All classes held in 2 hotels. The HST Summer Youth Camp will run for 4 days from 9 AM – 12 PM. The camp focus is on baseball instruction and drills to improve the skill. The camp will begin with an introduction of the fundamentals of baseball. Each day will begin with throwing and catching drills. The session will be followed by position training. Each player will learn about each position on the field. Each day there will also be a specialty skill learned. These skills will be base running, sliding, and bunting. Each day ends with games. Non-Resident High Performance Camp (Day Camp Only) - Stanford
A high level gymnastics camp, attending only as a Day Camp, on the Stanford Campus. Open to any and all entrants, this camp is designed primarily for competitive gymnasts, levels 6 through 10. Gymnasts will be grouped by age and competitive experience. This is a unique camp, as it is intended for highly motivated and college bound gymnasts. The High Performance Camp is gymnastics focused with 6-7 hours of training per day. Coached by members of the Stanford Mens Gymnastics Team as well as the Stanford Coaching staff, this camp offers gymnasts the opportunity to raise their skills to the next level. During this camp, the gymnasts will be coached and taught each aspect of training at the highest level. This includes technical coaching on all events, air-sense, execution/presentation, strength and flexibility. Additionally they will be provided insight on the cycling process (assuring peak performance at a specific time), the NCAA Mens Gymnastics program, Stanfords Mens Gymnastics program and being eligible for a collegiate program. The Ford Center Gymnastics Training Facility offers at least two of every apparatus, both over competition landing surfaces and loose foam pits, as well as trampoline, tumble track and spotting belts. Series of four, 1-hour lessons for $140. Our junior clinics go beyond the basics of the golf swing and actually get the kids out on the golf course utilizing our PGA Family Tees. Sessions are conducted using the US Kids Learning Program which has 3 levels including a playing proficiency test. Fee includes instructional booklet, hat, bag tag and achievement pins that are earned as skill proficiency is achieved. Intended for children ages 6-12 (Minimum 4 students). PLEASE NOTE: There is a $3.95 non-refundable fee for registering online. Explore the Majesty of Costa Ricas Jungle Animals & Learn Spanish Campers explore the dynamic jungle of Costa Rica. The colorful and intriguing animals are extraordinary and will magically ‘transport campers to the ‘jungle where it is super fun to speak Spanish. During this week campers get to build a large scale ‘time travel machine out of recyclable materials. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports, and discover the joys of learning Spanish through various activities. Theme vocabulary includes colors, verbs, nouns, adjectives all about these animals and their unique features. CELEBRATION DAY: WEDNESDAY (always optional)- Go Wild Day Come to camp dressed in your favorite animal prints or animal tees. During camp choice time choose your favorite wild animal look for our special face paint activity! Notes: There may be options for arranging late pick up the same day. A week long day camp adventure at Camp Fire Northwest Ohios Camp Glen in Tiffin, Ohio. Day Campers can enjoy all the benefits of going to a Camp Fire camp during the day at Camp Glen, while returning to their home each night. Camp Glen is located on the banks of the Sandusky River just outside of McCutchensville. These day camps extend the Camp Fire experience to include an overnight stay on Thursday night at Camp Glen. 419-422-5415
