We sent our 5 year old son and our 10 year old daughter to Liberty Lake Day Camp. This camp is for children ages 4 to 15. The aim of the camp is to teach children skills that will make them successful in life. Some of the areas campers focus on include: teamwork, friendship, independence and confidence. In this podcasting class, well examine the art of radio storytelling, beginning with the Golden Age of radio dramas in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, all the way up to the radio journalism of today with programs like This American Life, 99% Invisible, and RadioLab. Please bring to camp: Riding boots, helmet (optional) Tuesday & Wednesday bring lunch, snacks, and drinks. Thursday: Bring overnight lunch we will provide dinner.
