YDL Soccer Girls (5th & 6th ) 2015-2016 - VENUE LOCATION
Join us as our Wildcat Soccer is changing to YDL versus CASA this year! Open to all 5th and 6th grade girls. We will form an all girls team if we have enough registered girls. If there are not enough girls to form a girls only team we will then have a coed team(s). Practices will be held on the Japonica athletic field beginning Feb 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays. This will be a 6 week session: Game dates are set for: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, Mon 3/21 OR Tues 3/22. Player registration includes officials costs, new jersey, and a Page Mate photo. Player is responsible for black soccer shorts (per coach discretion), socks/shin guards, and soccer cleats. Creative Adventures at Savannah Country Day - SCDS
Creative Adventures is an introduction to performing arts while learning to play creatively. We will utilize theatre exercises and "games" that assist in developing verbal and fine motor skills. We will pantomime, sing, and dance to music. Simple costume pieces and instruments are utilized. We also focus on the art of storytelling and how we can use our minds, voices, bodies and the space around us. We will create basic props, puppets and masks related to the stories to assist in the retelling and acting out a story. Card stock, paper bags, and art supplies are some of the materials used to create these items since the focus is on retelling and acting out the story not making an art project. End of Session Performance: On our last class day for this session, Friday, we will have a demonstration of the activities your child has participated in this week. It will be during the last 30 minutes of camp (11:30). Pictures and videos are allowed. Please take into consideration that your child may or may not feel self conscious with you and other parents watching. They may not perform or participate the same as they have in camp. Introduction to Discovery Camp: The Wild World Introduction to Discovery Camp is a shorter, scaled-down version of a traditional week-long Discovery Camp session. This allows children to build confidence and independence while developing an appreciation of the natural world through science education, exploration, and the traditional fun of summer camp. Note: This session is a 4-day introduction camp (Tuesday-Friday) and does not feature adventure days or wilderness camping, but weather permitting there will be a challenge hike and an on-site camping experience. OZ Park Summer Softball camp week 10 - OZ Park
This summer LPBA is partnering with the Chicago Bandits (womans professional softball team). Players and coaches from the Bandits will be on hand throughout the summer to work with our softball campers on hitting, pitching mechanics and defensive fundamentals. LPBA softball camp is open to girls ages 7-13. This new partnership will offer a truly unique camp experience for softball players in the Chicagoland area. Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - $175 per week Fridays are rain make up days Camp registration is on a weekly basis. 312-246-1616
