Heres a camp with a technology twist: Drive robots with smartphones, take digital pictures and videos, and learn how to edit them. Brush up your computer knowledge at new, age-appropriate classes. These days kids seem to be losing touch with nature, so in this camp we are going to bring them back to the wild side. Kids will leave civilization behind as we head out into the great unknown to learn all about nature and surviving the outdoors. Campers will get the ins and outs of navigating trails, compass use, telling time by the sun, identify animal tracks, interact daily with animals, make fossils, build a drift shelter, survival skills, make Native American crafts, outdoor cooking (more than just smores) and so much more. Beach volleyball legend, Sinjin Smith, plus his qualified staff of local San Diego area coaches, are ready to pass down years of knowledge to you! Throughout the summer, Sinjin will drop by periodically to work with campers. The camp is structured so that all campers will receive proper instruction based upon their individual skill levels. This camp will cover all of the fundamentals, teach specialized drills and supervised games will be played. Everyone will receive a Beach Volleyball camp T-shirt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Campers should apply sun screen prior to camp.
