Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. Hey guys. We are in need of volunteers to help out at the Kid's Triathlon the university is hosting. This is a fun all day event on April 19th with several volunteer shifts to help fit your schedule! If you'd like to help make this a great experience for the young ones, please comment/post on this event telling us when you can volunteer. The shifts are: - 4:45am - 9am (this will entail mostly set up and concessions) - 9am – 1pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 1pm – 4pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 4pm – 7pm (concessions, tear down and help with trash pick-up during event) The more volunteers we get to help out with the event the better it helps support the club. We hope all of you can come out and help with this amazing event. Invite your friends and family as well! See y'all there!

Robot Inventor - Schenectady County Community College
Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using simple programming. Four themes will be introduced including: Amazing Mechanisms, Wild Animals, Play Soccer and Adventure Stories. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. Science Olympiad Camp Full Day (Grades 6-9) - Community Middle School
Science Olympiad Camp (Grades 6-9) Full Day The Science Olympiad Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to experience what it is like to compete in a Science Olympiad Tournament. Students choosing the ½ day option will participate in 2 Science Olympiad events, while those choosing the full day option will participate in 4 events. The camp events are the same as those used in the State and National Science Olympiad Competitions. At the end of the 2 week camp, campers will participate in our camp competition which will be modeled after actual Science Olympiad competitions. Instructors are current members of the High School North Science Olympiad Team and former members of the Community Middle School Science Olympiad Team that has won 13 consecutive State Science Olympiad Championships and 2 National Science Olympiad Championships. Magic Tree House Club - Old Trail School
Come along as we help Annie and Jack, two normal kids from Frog Creek, Pennsylvania (much like you), to free Morgan le Fay from a spell, solve ancient riddles and save four old stories from being lost for good. This camp will use the Magic Tree house books to serve as a guide as campers try to become Master Librarians. Each day will include reading, time outside and a snack. The Elite Camp provides an intense, rewarding, and fun experience for campers. The camps unique curriculum balances instructional sessions and live match situations each day.
