Teenagers (ages 13-18) of all dance levels are invited to register for our first ever Dance Camp July 6-10, 2015. Students will enjoy skill-based instruction in tap, musical theater, and hip hop from professional dance teachers as they do their morning rotations. After a time of worship, Bible study, and small group time, each day will end with a full company production number rehearsal. The camp will take place at Groove Nation West with three different mirrored studio instruction rooms for optimum learning, and the performance on the Mago Hunt stage at the University of Portland campus. 2016 Jr High Fantasy Camp - Cal State Fullerton Titan Stadium
This is an opportunity for junior high school soccer players to experience the life of a Division 1 soccer player. Campers will be given the opportunity to train with Division 1 athletes and coaches. They will be put through a typical pre-season training camp that collegiate athletes experience at the beginning of every season. Campers will be sleeping in the collegiate dorms under the supervision of the camp directors, camp coaches and current Cal State Fullerton women soccer players. They will eat in the cafeteria, train twice or three times daily and be provided official Fullerton Soccer training gear. They will eat, sleep, and play soccer for 4 days straight! Oh yeah and have a little bit of fun while they are doing it! Sunflower Basketball Camp - Ages 11-13 - Olathe Community Center
This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13 focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13-years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes.
