Summer Camps in Rockland County, NY
Join us for a full day art camp and learn about the fundamentals of digital photography, including composition, lighting, perspective, contrast, color, portraiture and motion, while you are out shooting in the field. Each morning, kids will take photographs in and around Mitchell Park and one to two field trips will be scheduled. In the afternoons, camp will take place in the computer lab at Mitchell Park Community Center, where kids will use PhotoshopTM to enhance, manipulate and finish digital images. What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing.

Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Summer Camp Music Festival - Minnesota Members - Chillicothe, IL
The first Summer Camp Music Festival was held in 2001 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. About 1,000 attended the festival that year, and enjoyed over 20 bands on 2 stages over the course of 2 days. Since then, Summer Camp Music Festival has grown to more than 15,000 attendees, hosting more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. And while our numbers have grown, Summer Camp still maintains the same energy and family feel we had when we started over a decade ago. As one fan put it, “Coming to Summer Camp is like coming home.” You’ll run into old friends, meet a ton of great new ones, and have the time of your life. Almost tripling the population of Chillicothe for the weekend, Summer Camp creates a city within a city, and greatly impacts the local business economy. CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, canoeing and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. Summer Stars Camp - Pensacola Little Theatre
Get ready for the FULL theatre production experience! This camp includes creative writing as well as acting techniques. Students will learn the fundamentals of writing a script, characterization & performance skills. All students will rehearse and perform in their final production. Students will also work behind the scene by collaborating on set design, prop and costume teams. Plug into a reality of your own design. Build a Google Cardboard virtual reality viewer from materials that will be provided at camp, then use an experimental Virtual Reality toolkit to design your own immersive, interactive worlds on supplied computers or on a mobile device.
