I sent I child here last summer and she had a horrible summer! She told me horrible things! When I called the place the complain, the phone was not even working. They have the worst customer service ever. My daughter said they were also hungry and was never fed enough. She was bullied at the camp and said no adult did anything about it. Tech Explorers: Robotics and iPad® Stop-Motion Movies - Bethel Christian Center
Students explore robotics using LEGO® components and then use iPad®s and special effects apps to make a stop-motion movie. In the morning, campers build machines with LEGO® elements and then program and use them to uncover clues to solve a mystery. Theyll use motors to power projects and sensors to detect movement and trigger actions. Programming is easy with LEGO® WeDo® software - students drag and drop blocks on the screen to create the instructions to run their machines. Each student has their own kit and computer to use. Projects include building an airplane controlled through a keyboard, building a sensor-activated sliding door, making an amusement park ride controlled with a tilt sensor, and more. In the afternoon, students work in teams to create a stop-motion movie starring LEGO® minifigures and sets that they create using LEGO® components. Students record the movie frame-by-frame on an iPads®, add exciting titles, visual and sound effects, and background music in the Pinnacle Studio editing app! Teams choose the story and characters - it can be a comedy, or an adventure starring Scooby-Do®, a favorite superhero, animals, or Minecraft® characters. 206-466-6882

SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Movie Making with a Green Screen Session I: June 27 to July 8 No camp on Monday, July 4 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Bounce Back non-profit leverages the game of basketball to provide renewed hope to young people who are de aling with (or have overcome) difficult life challenges. The Skills and Drills clinic was designed by former NBA Players, David Wingate (founder of Bounce Back) and Micheal Britt (Britt-Quinn Enterprise). It is their flagship program. The skills and drills clinics combines a mentorship component with motivational talks along with clinics teaching ball handling, rebounding, defense and shooting. The clinics are taught by legendary players of their time (both former pro NBA and semi-pro players). We currently offer Skills & Drills clinics for youth in Delaware, MD (Baltimore & Eastern Shore), Philadelphia, PA, DC Metro, Suffolk, VA, North & South Carolina, Louisville, Kentucky and Atlanta, GA.
