2016 Walk A Kid To Camp (-athon) - Puyallup, WA
The Salvation Army is hosting a walkathon to raise funds to help send children to summer camp. We offer several camp sessions lasting from three to eight days for children of various ages. Your child will be supervised by caring on-site counselors.There are three types of camping experiences for children ranging in age from six to sixteen which include; residential camps, day camps and teen wilderness camps. We need help raising the funds to supporting sending children to camp. Join us June 4 and help us send children to summer camp.

We will all spend the night in the dorms to bring back memories of when we were campers/staff at FM Youth! This event is for 7th grade and above. If you are 6th grade or below, a parent/guardian must be attending the event as well. We would LOVE to have families come! Bring your spouse and children; just make sure to register them too!! Saturday will be treated as a day of camp and a work day. It will conclude with a pie auction and hamburger fry at 6pm. Proceeds raised from this will go towards the trustees. Sunday Morning will be an optional church service at the campgrounds for those who wish to attend. We will have a potluck lunch after service. There is also a workday at the campgrounds starting...

We will be distributing Blessing bags to the less fortunate at Fairmount Park in Riverside California. What would the Blessing Bags consist of? - Hygiene Products (no mouthwash) - Water Bottle - First Aid materials (no sharp objects) - Baby wipes - Wash cloth - Chapstick - Sunscreen - Nonperishable food items Who is responsible for providing blessing bags? Each student is encouraged to bring a blessing bag with them. You can trade in your bag for a Mercy Chronicles t-shirt on Friday night or Saturday morning before we head to the Park. Transportation: There will be a bus available for transportation to the park. Spaces will be available to those who pre-register first. ARKLA Teen Prayer Conference - Mountain Pine, AR
We need to know who is interested ASAP so we can plan fundraising, travel, etc... The 2016 Teen Prayer Conference will be held at Camp Yorktown Bay in Mountain Pine Arkansas and is sponsored by the Arkansas-Louisiana Prayer Ministries Department. Teen Prayer Conference is for any students in grades 7-12. 4-Day Performance Academy Our Performance Camp is designed for the passionate soccer player. The SSA Performance Academy Camp will exposes all participants to the best on and off field soccer training, competitions, and activities to maximize full potentials and prepare each player to dominate their teammates and opponents in their upcoming season. Youth Players (ages 9-13) The SSA Youth Performance Academy will emerge participants in technical, tactical, and functional sessions. Speed, agility, and quickness training.
