Back to School Boot Camp: Fourth and Fifth Grade CurriculumGet your mind and body fit for the school year with this unique experience. Join Mr. Chad Hamilton and Mr. Ben Spencer, both credentialed teachers, for their Back to School Boot Camp! The program combines academic tutoring and athletic activities. Reading, writing, and math skill building will be alternated with athletic activities to prepare incoming second, third, fourth, fifth & sixth graders. All curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will be given optional homework, needed literature and academic materials. Parents will be given an opportunity to share their childs needs prior to the camps introduction so curriculum can be individualized. Students will use the athletic activities and games to guide academic projects. Think calculating averages, graphing and sport related literature. Boot Campers will receive one-on-one and small group instruction! Final Kid's Camp Meeting - McKinney, TX
This is a mandatory final camp meeting for all parents of kids who will be attending Kid's Camp this year. We will meet directly following 2nd service in the Gen Kids Room. The remaining camp balance and concessions money is due at the conclusion of this meeting. Additionally, the Camp Waiver form will be provided at this meeting. We will discuss last minute details, things to pack, and answer any questions. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

August Summer Camp Crop - Sunday - Garrettsville, OH
Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) Digital scrappers and card makers welcome at all events too! Join us for one or both days.

FREE KIDS GUN SAFETY CLASS - Norwalk, OH
********CLASS IS NOW FULL*********** Parents please stay with your children for this event. Bring lawn chairs to relax in. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. We will need to limit this class to 60 children. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Thanks!!

Has your child or teen ever dreamed of flying — the amazing freedom, the fun, the excitement? Join professional teachers of aerials arts and acrobatics for our exciting camps! Open to kids ages 4-18, (different age groups available) campers are invited to Frequent Flyer's Aerial Dance Studio to learn skills on trapeze, aerial fabric, sling, acrobatics and so much more. Campers will work to combine dance, theater and improvisation to cultivate the skills necessary to become a performing artist. Each week campers will divide into groups based on age and ability to help us transform the equipment into a magical world of flying bodies and soaring spirits! Pop! Fizz! Chemical Reactions - Seattle Preparatory School
This is the perfect introduction to chemical reactions for curious middle school students! Each day, students will learn about the chemical interactions of atoms and molecules using hands-on lab activities, group activities, and class discussions. All materials will be provided, but students should wear clothes that are appropriate for lab activities. Kristen Tordillos teaches biology, physical science, and honors biology at Seattle Prep. Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration.
