Teen Writing Matters: A Summer Writing Camp July 18-22 - Grass Valley,
One Session ONLY! Monday – Friday, 1 to 4PM Class limit 20, minimum 8 Students need to bring paper and pens Minimum age: 13 $200 members, $225 non members Will we sing campfire songs? No. Will we write similes about the smell of a campfire, or lengthy descriptions of that one camp counselor who wears knee socks and a fanny pack? Perhaps. Join Kirsten Casey for five days of writing delight: creating poetry, characters, flash fiction pieces, and more. We will write everyday from 1-4 using a variety of prompts, strengthening our attention to detail, sharing our work, and eating candy. Kirsten Casey is a local California Poet in the Schools, who has been teaching creative writing to students in the area for over ten years. She earned her Masters in Creative Writing from San Francisco State, and you can find her work in the anthology Yuba Flows, and her own book of poetry, Ex Vivo: Out of the Living Body. As a teen, Kirsten kept a daily journal, wrote poetry and a play, and enjoyed quoting song lyrics. She loves working with teens because she feels like a teen trapped inside of an adult, and because she never tires...

K9 Kid's Camp - San Angelo, TX
Children in Kindergarten-5th grade will learn pet ownership responsibilities, positive interaction, basic training techniques, and how to safely interact with puppies and dogs known to them and rules for animals unknown to them. Cost is $20 per camper each session. The K9 Kid's Camp will last 6 weeks and each camper will receive a certificate of completion and will earn Boot Camp points during training for other awards.

Welding & Metal Sculpture - Coyote Central
Using MIG welders, metal saws, hot and cold bending systems, and grinders, youll begin to master the basics of welding and metal fabrication. The focus this week will be toward 3d sculptures: anything from abstract to fanciful; candle sticks to garden art; figurative pieces of animals, minerals, vegetables; or anything beyond. Youll be using welding skills to develop fine-art aesthetics because youll be working with a teacher who is a metal sculptor. Instructor: James Brandalise 2063237276.0

Knights and Princesses on Parade - Old Trail School
Proudly announcing a summer camp filled with magical things for every princess and knight! From kissing frogs, sitting on peas, to slaying dragons, campers will engage in many fun and exciting opportunities. Building castles, creating magic fairy dust, crafting a coat of arms, and designing a custom knight/princess costume are just some of the excitement this camp has to offer. We will cover all the knight and princess essentials, especially kindness and manners. The week will conclude with a Fairytale Festival for families and siblings to showcase the weeks creations!
