Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. The answer is these living organisms are influencing the way people are designing new and more efficient technologies. Make your own investigations by looking at a variety of natural objects, using microscopes, designing your own new product, and promoting your prototype to the NESS Biomimicry Judges. Kick off the summer with this fun and educational soccer camp. Campers will learn about passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling, and gain a better understanding of the correct terminology and rules of the game of soccer. Campers will be divided by age/skill and participate in fun drills and small sided games. Players should come with shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. Participants should also bring sneakers for the FHS gym in case of inclement weather. Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; and from 10:00-5:30pm on Thursday; and from 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games, educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36 In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree.
