2 Full Days Stamford February Vacation All Sports Camp - Davenport School
For Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 years old 9AM-4:00PM 2 FULL DAYS FRIDAY FEB 12 & TUESDAY FEB 16 This program offers children a chance to participate in many different sports such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey, volleyball, and other physical education type activities. Video Production Basics (PM) - The Digital Arts Experience
Come for 1 or 2 weeks! These programs are aimed at beginner to intermediate level students. Because our classes are small groups, instructors can gauge each students skill level and assign projects appropriately. All students will receive their own DAE 8GB flash drive to store their work on and take home! Watching movies is awesome but how do you make them? This class introduces students to the basic concepts of creating movies! Students will learn composition techniques to create interesting shots, how to tell a good story with clever editing and how to plan out their own project. With a plethora of on trend sewing patterns to choose from and bolts and bolts of tempting fabric, our Fashion & Machine Sewing program offers unlimited choices. Patient and skilled counselors work with individual campers of all abilities to teach all the necessary skills, from learning how to use a sewing machine to measuring, pinning, cutting, and putting patterns together. Plug into a reality of your own design. Build a Google Cardboard virtual reality viewer from materials that will be provided at camp, then use an experimental Virtual Reality toolkit to design your own immersive, interactive worlds on supplied computers or on a mobile device. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS.
