Kid's Clay Camp $25 - Session 2 Painting our Projects and Door signs -
Schools out and we have things to do ! Come hang with us for a few hours ! Ages 8 and up unless An adult is going to stay in the class. $25! Gets your child instructed project time in clay and a snack and a drink . Save $5 on registration when you have 3 or more students sign up . ( group discounts apply on the 3 student and up) We're only accepting 30 students per session. Well post the link on Monday . Session Two Class Details - This session student will Paint their previously hand built a bird bath and if they get done in time any bonus item we gifted them ! We're also painting door signs ! Summer fun theme ! These are indoor / outdoor ready signs cut from solid wood ( no mdf)

June 23 & 24 TEEN SUMMER CAMP - Ages 13 & UP 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. both days. Students will create pieces based on interests. Teens will work on the pottery wheel, in fused glass, canvas painting and paint your own pottery. Call Studio with questions (540) 364-2834. See further details at our website.

This camp will be an introduction to the potter's wheel! During this camp teens will have the opportunity to work in a professional ceramic studio using the same equipment that the pros use. The camp will begin with centering the clay and creating basic forms, such as bowls, cups and vases. We will spend time learning how to trim and finish the pots. The last day of class everyone will glaze their work with their favorite colorful patterns. June 20th - June 24th 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Sunflower Basketball Camp - Ages 11-13 - Olathe Community Center
This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13 focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13-years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Marinwoods camp for middle school students mixes the skills taught in babysitter training with the fun of camp! Campers will learn basic child care, the business of babysitting, become certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid, and receive an American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate. They will also practice cooking skills, learn kid-friendly games, go swimming and have the opportunity to work with our youngest camps. This week will leave campers with the confidence and knowledge to start taking care of little ones! Camp fee includes babysitter handbook & certificate and First Aid/CPR certification. Character development, playwriting, improvisation, ensemble work and overall confidence are just some of the skills campers will master!
