This soccer camp offers soccer games, skills demonstrations, and small-sided competition in a safe and nurturing environment. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced player, they will enhance their playing skills while getting a better understanding of the game participating in shooting, passing, and dribbling skills. Camps are directed by LA GALAXY/Autobahn coach Raul Palomares. Please bring soccer/running shoes, lunch, water, snack and sunscreen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs February 3 (6 am) through February 9. Great Equestrian Camp
This is a wonderful camp to send your child to if they love to ride horses. The counselors are great and seemed to instantly love the kids. My child stayed mostly in the equestrian part and learned a lot from the instructors. They seemed to love their jobs working with horses and kids. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 21st. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. World Café is a great opportunity for our language students to increase their exposure to their target language in a fun Friday afternoon session. Children who arent studying languages at Janney but have some knowl- edge of Spanish, French, or Chinese are also welcome to participate. This session will emphasize cooking. The lessons have been chosen to make language learning fun. Our language teachers will be running the classes. This is a great way to wind down the week and practice language skills! 202-724-8950
03 Spring Volleyball Camp 1 Ages 6-9 - Middle School
Practice and learn how to serve, spike, set, bump etc. This camp will help prepare you to really improve you game and move up the ladder of success! Enter the Middle School through door #34 and proceed to the gym. In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. You must also read the Parent/Athlete concussion agreement in the text and check the box underneath to provide confirmation that you have read, understand and agree to the new concussion information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parent/Guardian must initial for anyone under 18 years old. Children love being outside playing in the soil, and they love exploring how plants grow in a garden. Join us as we channel your childs natural curiosity as we learn about flowers and edibles from planting to plate. This camp will include a variety of projects plus tastings of a variety of plants and plant parts ranging from roots to flowers (these are all things you normally eat.). Date: Thursday, August 11th 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Friday, August 12th 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Ages: 4 – 8 with an adult Instructors: Deb Frantz, Rich Frantz, Kuen Spichiger, Santino Lauricella, Beth Sanders NOTE: Choose ONE OF TWO sessions for this camp.
