Would be an ok camp if you want your child hiking trails covered in trash & broken bottles. From one year to the next, the Y staff does nothing to clean up trash, fallen trees, glass. Winter Prospect Camp - Oosterbaan Field House
This camp is a college identification camp. Field players and goalkeepers will work directly with the University of Michigan Mens Soccer staff to experience the daily training environment of the U-M Mens Soccer program. The camp will consist of on-field technical training, small-sided and large-sided games, as well as a lecture regarding the recruiting process. The NYC Soccer Academy is committed to training players between the ages of 6-18 in the technical, tactical and athletic aspects of soccer. Players will be exposed to an experience of intense game situations that will help them develop the skill and confidence required to succeed at every level. Goalkeepers will be used in all sessions and coached by our experienced staff within their assigned groups. 03rd 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 5 (Five) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each... 865-376-9312
